3M™ Cavity Wax Plus protects against corrosion in concealed locations Developed specifically as a corrosion protectant on interior automotive panels and structural components, our 3M™ Cavity Wax Plus is typically applied to areas including door skins, vehicle sills, interior quarter panels and frame rails. It is formulated for use on bare or primed automotive metals including steel or aluminum, and can be simply sprayed on in coats to protect critical interior joints, hem flanges and repair welds where moisture can form over time. The non-hardening interior corrosion protection material remains soft and pliable and will not crack, chip or peel after application. Spray-on material in an easy-to-use can eliminates the need for bulk spray technology, allowing instead for easy application after painting and welding. Use 3M™ Cavity Wax Plus with our 3M™ Cavity Wax Plus Applicator Wand Kit PN8851WK to access hard-to-reach locations. 3M™ Cavity Wax Plus Applicator Wand Kit (sold separately) is designed to work with spray containers of 3M™ Cavity Wax Plus, the applicator wand kit consists of an actuator that fits on the can, and narrow delivery tubes in 20 cm, 61 cm and 86 cm lengths. The 20 cm tube delivers a powerful stream of cavity wax to flood and seal joints. The 61 cm and 86 cm tubes provide a uniform 360° spray pattern to ensure maximum coverage. The wand kit helps you deliver the right amounts of protective spray to inner rocker panels, dog legs, inside constructions, frame rails and other concealed places with tight tolerances, as well as the correct flow and wicking for consistent and uniform protection.
